How about acts of God, such as hurricanes, floods or even volcanic eruptions that make it impossible for me to travel? Will I lose my investment?
You’ll be delighted at just how affordable travel insurance can be. Hurricanes, floods, and other inclement weather may keep you from your vacation. Most Travelex travel insurance plans can help protect you against the loss of your hard-earned travel investment. With the right Travelex plan, you can be protected even in events such as a traffic accident while en route to your departure, an unexpected shutdown of transportation services, or other unforeseeable circumstances that would cause you to miss your departure.

What if my present health insurance doesn’t cover me when I travel outside the country?
That’s a super question, and a very real concern, as many policies don’t provide medical coverage when you’re abroad. All Travelex plans sold by our preferred insurance provider offer reimbursement for emergency medical expenses while traveling, and may even cover the cost of evacuation to the nearest appropriate hospital. In addition, coverage provided on most Travelex plans is primary with no deductibles. Now, that’s some peace of mind!
-
Is my whole family covered when I purchase travel insurance?
Our preferred insurance provider, Travelex Insurance, offers protection plans that cover children at no additional cost when accompanied by a covered adult family member. Just be sure that you include the names and ages of all of your children as part of your enrollment application. This protection can apply to the following plan when age and trip cost limitations are met:
Travel Select (children under age 17)

What if the lodge’s individual deposit and cancellation policies are different than Sweet Waters Adventure’s policies?
That’s not at all unusual. Each lodge quite naturally elects to customize its policy with respect to cancellations and refunds. Many lodges that are located in remote areas don’t enjoy walk-in traffic, so short term bookings are rare. When spaces are held with a deposit, the lodge takes your accommodations off the market, holding them exclusively for you. As a result, when cancellations occur, the lodge would be harmed by loss of business. We think you’ll agree that they should be allowed to recover that cost by keeping your deposit.
-
What if I, or someone in my party, experience a medical emergency?

When your immediate emergency situation has been stabilized, it’s time to call Travelex Insurance Travel Assistance Services provider. They’re ready to help you 24/7 with advice and services that include everything from a lost prescription to evacuation to the appropriate medical facility.
