Travel with Sweet Waters Adventure for a steelhead adventure of a lifetime. Join SWA as we fish two of the most productive rivers in British Columbia – the Bulkley and the Morice. The Bulkley is known for its long sweeping runs, warm water temp, and incredibly abundant insect life that make it the indisputable best dry fly steelhead river in British Columbia.
The Bulkley Canyon trip is a wild and exciting fly fishing experience. It might be the best BC has to offer. For hardcore anglers who are searching for long days of fishing and some of the best runs on the Bulkley River, the upper and lower canyons have few rivals. Regardless where we will be fishing on any given day you can expect and have faith that Derek Botchford and his guides will give us the best opportunity to be successful.
Here is the itinerary: You have to remember that the itinerary is not necessarily written in stone. We will have almost unlimited options when we get there and depending on you and your preferences – you might want to change the itinerary slightly. I am more than sure Derek will do his best.
Friday – Arrive Smithers
Overnight at selected accommodations (independently arranged, not included). We recommend the Stork’s Nest Inn-250.847.3831. Please call them immediately after arrival at and have their free shuttle come pick you up for transfer to the inn.

Monday – Day 3
You have an option here to do an overnight canyon float or do a day trip out of the main lodge.
Tuesday – Day 4
If you chose an overnight float, you would get home around 6:30 pm for dinner. If you chose a day trip of BC salmon fishing, you would do another day trip out of main lodge. You can fish any piece of water you want or just let us put on what we think will fish the best.
Wednesday – Day 5
