Estancia Laguna Verde, with its recently renovated lodge and much-improved roads, offers a wide variety of programs, (unlike other operations in the Strobel area). Every season we challenge visiting anglers to fish new beats and use different fishing techniques every day of the week to battle strong ‘monster’ trout.

After several seasons of hard work, we can now take our guests to more than 14 km of Lake Strobel, including several protected bays such as Monsters Bay, Camelot Bay, Finger Bay, Moro Bay, Tasmania Bay, Sea Bay, Puesto Bay, The Aquarium, and, Dry Fly Bay. Fishing these protected waters ensures our guests enjoy outstanding sight fishing even in the hardest of conditions.
Discovered just two seasons ago (and never fished before) Moro Creek runs through the Estancia. This spring creek like stream connects each of the twelve lakes inside the Estancia. This awesome creek runs mainly during spring and early summer, and it has, little by little, won the hearts of many of our guests, becoming a favourite among early-season visitors. The Estancia fishes 4 sections of this unique creek as well as the inlet and outlets at the chained lakes such as Los Flacos, Campamento, Los Chanchos and La Reja. We fish these lakes in addition to the usual fishing programs at Texas and Verde Lake (both very close to the lodge).
One of the highlight programs at our Estancia is the incredible Barrancoso River, the one and only tributary of Strobel Lake. This beautiful freestone river runs for more than 10 km through our Estancia. Our guests have exclusive access to the best pools and runs on the river. Anglers can fish until the last meters where the river enters Strobel Lake.
Estancia Laguna Verde fishes this dream-like river with its crystal clear waters and amazing runs of huge trout in 3 different sections—the upper, middle and, lower. There are two beats in each section with their own special characteristics that offer outstanding fishing.
